Submitting an Ad

If you already have an ad designed, or will be working with another designer, please note the following guidelines for submittal:

FOR THE MAGAZINE:

Sizes:

1 page with border is 7.5 X 10 inches or bleed to the end 8.5 X 11( but may lose text at edge if printed).

1/2 page is 7.5 X 5 inches

1/4 page is 3.75 X 5 inches

1/8 page is roughly 3.75 x 2.5 inches and

1/16 page is less than 2 X 2.5 inches so we will make it 2 x 2.5inches.

File format: Adobe Acrobat PDF files are preferred. Please use the "press" optimization for PDF files and make sure all graphics and fonts are embedded (Acrobat 6 or higher may do that for you). All graphics used should be saved as TIFFS (.tif) at 300 dpi. All colors and images must be built from CMYK. Please convert your RGB to CMYK if you can.

If you are unable to deliver your ad in PDF format, a TIFF file is acceptable. Use same guidelines for graphics as described above.

***Please save your file with the name of your business.***

Provide your ad on a disk or send via e-mail. Include a color-correct print of your ad, with your name and the name of your business, as well as the date(s) your ad will run. This will ensure that everything comes out right!

FOR THE WEBSITES:

Ad Dimensions and Specifications

We can work with most sizes if you have a standard banner.

Large Ad: Approximately 291 pixels wide x 176 pixels tall

Small Banners: Approximately 157 pixels wide x 98 pixels tall or 232 X 78.

We can manipulate the ad if it is close to these sizes.

The banner image, if providing your own, can either be a GIF, Animated GIF or JPEG file.
